How does it work?
Profhilo is an injectable hyaluronic acid treatment. It is the same type of hyaluronic acid that is found in dermal fillers. However, it is of a much higher concentration, and the substance is not “cross-linked”. This results in a substance that hydrates the skin and remodels ageing and sagging tissue.
In contrast to dermal fillers, which are used to smooth lines/wrinkles and create contour, Profhilo is purely used to improve skin quality by hydrating the skin and boosting the production of collagen and elastin, which causes a significant tightening/lifting effect.
This treatment can be performed alongside many of our other treatments at our Kingston and Marylebone, London clinic. Sometimes we combine Profhilo treatment with anti wrinkle injections to improve fine lines and wrinkles in the upper and lower halves of the face. The combination of these treatments can result in a drastic improvement to the facial skin.

Profhilo treatment is relatively simple and straightforward. The substance is injected at 5 precise locations on either side of the face, which are optimal points to allow the hyaluronic acid to spread through the tissue evenly.
