At Karwal Aesthetics, we offer bespoke packages to help you meet your aesthetic goals. Everyone’s face is different, requiring work in different areas to achieve facial harmony. Therefore, treatments can vary drastically from client to client, and people require different amounts of dermal filler to achieve this. During the consultation, we look at the face holistically and create a personalised plan for your treatment. These treatments are performed by Dr Arun at our Mayfair clinic and Kingston clinic.   • Beautification

    Enhancing chin and cheekbones to improve the V-shaped feminine face. Improving nose tip and shape if required. Reducing temple hollowness if required. Improving lip shape and symmetry and reducing shadowing areas on the face by treating under-eyes and nasolabial and marionette lines. Enhancing jaw with dermal fillers or using masseter botox to reduce jaw width if required.

  • Profile Balancing

    Improving the profile view of the face via balancing some of our most prominent features- our nose, lips and chin. Improving nose shape and tip, projecting chin and reshaping as required. Improving lip balancing and projection.

  • Masculinisation

    Enhancing the jawline and chin to create a strong and masculine face shape. Treating the cheeks if hollowness is present, aiming for a straighter, more horizontal contour line. Straightening the bridge of the nose if required. Reducing areas of shadowing on the face by treating under-eyes and nasolabial lines.

  • Structural Restoration

    As we age, we lose volume in some very typical areas of the face; the temples, the cheeks, the jaw, and the under eyes. This leads to a drooping effect in some areas and hollowness in other areas. Structural restoration focuses on improving the volume and structure in areas of the face due to ageing.

FAQs

    1. Aftercare Notes:

      Needle entry points, redness, bruising, swelling and asymmetry around injection sites immediately after treatment is normal due to the very nature of the treatment.

      There may also be some tenderness present as the bruising and inflammation sets in. These symptoms will resolve over the next 2-7 days, depending on your individual response to the treatment.

      It may take a full 4 weeks for all swelling to settle; until this time we cannot re-treat.

      Even if you are happy with your results after your treatment, we highly recommend you attend a review appointment. This way we can assess your results by comparing before and after images, massage the injected area if required and plan for future treatments if required.

      For 4 weeks avoid:

      No Dental Work for 2 weeks before & after treatment.

      No Massage of treated area.

      Please notify us immediately if you notice any balancing of the skin (areas of white/ yellow/ grey discolouration), any bruise that tracks in an unusual pattern, extreme pain, visual disturbances or any new bruise that develops after a few days.

  • Yes, you can typically have both dermal filler and anti-wrinkle treatments during the same appointment. This combination approach is quite common and is often referred to as a "liquid facelift" or "combination treatment." Here's what you should know:

    Benefits of Combining Treatments

    • Comprehensive results: Anti-wrinkle injections (such as Botox) relax muscles that cause dynamic wrinkles, while fillers restore volume and smooth static wrinkles.

    • Convenience: Having both treatments in one session saves you time and reduces the number of appointments needed.

    • Complementary effects: The treatments work together - anti-wrinkle injections prevent muscle movements that can displace fillers, potentially extending the longevity of your results.

  • The longevity of dermal fillers varies depending on several factors including the type of filler used, the treatment area, individual metabolism, and lifestyle factors.

    Hyaluronic Acid (HA) Fillers: typically last 12-24 months, and longer.

    • Treatment Area: Fillers in highly mobile areas (like lips) tend to break down faster than less mobile areas (like cheeks)

    • Metabolism: People with faster metabolisms may break down fillers more quickly

    • Lifestyle: Sun exposure, smoking, saunas and intense physical activity can reduce longevity

    • Injection Technique: The skill of the injector can impact how long results last

    • Type of Filler: dense fillers tend to last longer than soft fillers.

  • The side profile of the face is just as important as the front view. When looking at the profile, we want the tip of the nose, the lips and the chin to be aligned ideally and in harmony. By augmenting these 3 facial features, we can create a balanced side profile.

  • This set of treatments focuses on enhancing the feminine features of the face. Typically, a narrow chin the same width as the nose, high and wide cheekbones and gently defined jawbones. A slight curvature of the nose and enhancement of the lips also further feminises the face.

  • Masculisation treatment focuses heavily on sharpening and defining key features of the face, like the jaws and chin. We want a strong, dominant jaw and chin with an angular and chiselled appearance to create a masculine appearance. Cheeks are also usually treated along with the jaw for a sculpted appearance. However, this is augmented differently to the female cheek. Sometimes, the nose is also straightened to complete the look.
